Summertime.

Summertime (Avalon, NJ) - Another memory of summer. From last year. Lomo LC-A, Fuji Provia 400 Slide Film (cross-processed).
Esquire.

Esquire (State College, PA) - Ah, my roommate at his best. Photo from a promotional shoot showcasing his business, Palmer Bartending. Of course, I am not sure if the harsh post-processing is acceptable, but I was drawn to the colors coming through the liquor and in his shirt. Canon 5D Mk2, Leica 35mm f/2.
Firin’ One Up.

Firin’ One Up (State College, PA) - One of my favorite shots from this weekend’s wedding in State College. I was outside shooting the getaway car being vandalized, while the jolly men enjoyed cigars and whiskey on the other side of the divider. Caught this through the dividing wall. Canon 5D Mk2, Canon 24-70L f/2.8.
Non/composition.

Non/composition (State College, PA) - Twice run film through an Lomo LC-A, on cross-processed on Kodak 400VS. Composition happened by formulated chance.
Signal/Response.

Signal/Response (Washington, DC) - I am intrigued by museum/gallery layouts and how art is cased against white walls, other art present, and lighting. In other words, I want this photograph to inaccurately represent what the curators intended to be seen in the museum. Taken with one of my favorite cameras (yet frustratingly light-leaking and broken), the Rollei Magic II, on Kodak 400V film.
Drift.

Drift (Hualien, Taiwan) - I could photograph driftwood all day - seriously, drop me off at a beach, and I will be a happy camper. This was a nice little find among the sandstone cliffs and bright blue sea. Canon 5D Mk2, Leica 21mm f/4.
Let Go.

Let Go. (Collage, 2007) - Self-explanatory. I love doing spur-of-the-moment collages, as I feel my mood, the strength of the elements, the available pieces, and a train of thought all mesh together to form a composition. Part artistic endeavor, part therapy, and part giving up the drivers seat for chance and experimentation to take control all play together.
The Ugly Sheep Judges You!

The Ugly Sheep Judges You! (McClure, PA) - Anybody know the reference here? If you do, you have spent hours upon days upon weeks watching a sitcom, just like me. Anyway, this is one of my favorite shots from the farm shoot! This sheep was not happy I was taking pictures of his… harem?… sitting directly behind him. Canon 5D Mk2, Canon 50mm f/1.4.
Vertical Forest.

Vertical Forest (Raystown, PA) - Only a half hour left of a mountain bike ride through a beautiful forest, and the rumble of thunder sounded the beginning of a monsoon. Okay, maybe not a monsoon, but we were soaked, and it became sunny again right before we got out of the woods to the car. Hence the phrase, “We’re not out of the woods yet.” Threw an autochrome digital filter on the trees, just ’cause. Canon 5D Mk2, Canon 24-70mm, f/2.8.
I Spy.

I Spy (Philadelphia, PA) - I love waiting for images to show themselves. This boy was running around the art museum at the Race for the Cure 2009 in Philly, and sometimes you just have to wait around for the right ingredients. Yellow coat, youthful enthusiasm for the mundane, and some bright light all went into this one. Canon 5D Mk2, Canon 50mm f/1.4.
