Lumberyard

Lumberyard (McClure, PA) – Rollei Magic II, Ilford HP5.
I realllllllly like this picture a lot. I get excited when I take a picture and don’t know how it will come back, and was pleasantly surprised when it showed up. I took it with one of my favorite cameras, a Rollei TLR on medium format film. I want to enlarge it huge, and really get the detail of the tree’s annual rings.

Canada Skies (Quebec, Canada) – Leica R5, Leica 21mm f/4.
Kodak was nice enough to send our company some new black-magic-experimental-secret-formula film for us to try out. I shot a whole load over the summer and just got it back from their processing site. I am pretty impressed with the color and grain – plus it also really helps to shoot it through decent lenses. Again, this is Canada (can you sense the theme that I REALLY enjoy it up there?!) at night, so it doesn’t do the color much justice. But it was one of the more successful night shots I had in a while
